I came across this picture in a pulp magazine. I think it was once used as a book mark. I thought that it was so cool that I should share it with all of you. If any of you recognize the people in this picture, leave a coment. I do not know the year or location.

I just had to post this on the blog. I just love seeing pulp references in modern settings. So in case you do as well, here ya go. I will be putting out more posts like this as they come up. I could use your help though. If you see a pulp reference in a modern setting then send me a pic. I would love to post it for all to see. Oh, and in case you are wounding if the wine is good. It is. It's not amazing but I tried the Cabernet and I liked it. I liked the bottle the most though.
I have recently added over 30 issues of Western Story. I have also added several issues of .44 Western and 10 Story Western. I have added a few 1940s issues of The Shadow and will be adding a few more within the next day or so. There are more western pulps that will be added as well.
Anyone else excited? I know I am. I just ordered my catologue. I recommend that you guys do the same. You can click on the pic to go to the page to order it.
I thought that I should let you know of the new pages that have been added to Vintage Pulps. First of all is the Pulp Replica / Reprint page. You will find in this page many pulp reprints of some great issues. These are used copies yet they are, for the most part, in great shape. This provides a great opportunity to get discount reprints. Then there is the Paperback Book section where you will find some great copies of used paperback which contain pulp stories. Last but not least there is the Top Shelve section. Here you will find some pulps that I have hand picked from the pulps for sale here on vintage pulps.
Pictured above are two recently added pulps for sale. There is the one and only issue of Sky High Library Magazine and The November 1934 issue of Danger Trail. 'Till next time. |
